A Consultative Group has been set up to look into and consider aspects of transport services on the Island that can be improved.
Specifically the group want to gauge the public’s opinions on the existing complaint processes.
The group was set up after a public consultation failed to achieve a broad demographic of feedback, with the bulk of responses coming from the air and sea carriers, who naturally considered their own processes to be upto standard.
Only one member of the public responded.
The Group has been established on a trial basis and will be seeking the opinions of both industry professionals and the public through a well-regarded pressure group.
MHK Graham Cregeen will be the chairman of the group, they will have their first meeting with the Chamber of Commerce Transport Committee, where they will work out what the next step should be.
