The Department of Infrastructure says it's only had one claim against it following a fall in Castletown Square.
A Freedom of Information request asked how many people had lodged complaints with the department, and how much compensation had been paid out.
In its response, the DOI says in the last year, it had been sent one claim over injuries sustained in the Square.
But it says it doesn't yet have any details about a compensation payout.
