Only gas bills are going paperless - Isle of Man Energy will write to people telling them if their supply is to be cut off.
That's the message from Office of Fair Trading chair Tim Glover MHK after facing questions in the House of Keys.
Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse asked about the company's move towards paperless billing.
Mr Glover said only bills would be paperless - anything else would see letters written:
