An Island resident who says a windfarm in the south of the Island will spoil the view is calling for a national referendum on the project.
John Anslow has started an online petition about the Earystane windfarm, which is being planned by Manx Utilitites.
He says the turbines will 'drastically alter the landscape, visible across the entirety of the southern side of our island, spoiling our cherished view'.
So far, the change.org petition which calls for a national vote on the plan has attracted just under 300 signatures.
