A chapel in the south of the Island has launched an online fundraiser for badly-needed repairs - and almost achieved its target in just two days!
Rachel Evans set up a GoFundMe page for Ballakilpheric Chapel in Rushen, which badly needs work on its rotting floor.
She decided to launch the online effort to save the chapel before it celebrates its 175th anniversary next year, hoping to rent it out to local groups and musicians.
Just two days after it launched, the fundraiser attracted £1,140 - out of an initial target of £1,250!
