Police are investigating after a sheep was killed and several others injured in the North of the Island.
According to officers, the livestock have been attacked by an animal whilst grazing in a field at Blue Point between 4pm on Wednesday, February 26, and 8.30am the next day (February 27).
Authorities say the farm owner is very anxious and upset about the incident which, they say, has left other farmers fearing for the safety and wellbeing of their own livestock.
The constabulary is asking anyone who may know anything about what happened to contact PC Chris Butler at Police Headquarters on 631 212 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
