Police are warning people to make sure their cars are roadworthy, after seizing a vehicle this week.
Officers from the Roads Policing Unit have been carrying out roadside winter vehicle checks, looking for faults which could spell danger.
They took to Facebook to remind drivers to make sure their motors are ready for winter weather.
And they say one motorist had to walk home after their vehicle was seized for having no tax and two faulty tyres.
