Onchan District Commissioners says an upcoming public meeting on possible future plans for the area is important in getting residents views.
The local authority announced this week the meeting will be held at 'The Hub' on School Road at 6.30pm on August 14 ahead of the public inquiry into the Draft Area Plan For East which is due to begin in September.
Officials hope the evening session will give locals the chance to voice their opinions on the proposals and discuss the matter with representatives.
The plan includes proposals and recommendations for the use of land in the areas of Douglas, Onchan, Garff, Marown and Santon.
