People who live in Onchan are up in arms after a u turn decision on what to do with the Squash Club in Onchan Park.
Commissioners' chairman Brian Stowell has publicly criticised the Squash Rackets Association for failing to mount a credible bid to take over the facilities, and instead it was awarded to the Western School of Dance.
But at the 11th the commissioners appear to have changed their mind and have backed out, causing the preferred bidder much disappointment.
Sharon Rye who runs the dance school says that it would have been a permanent home for her school in which hundreds of kids across the island attend.
She is urging the community to get behind her and for the commissioner to stick to their original decision.
