Young athletes on the Island should be inspired by the success of Olympic medallist Mark Cavendish.
That's the opinion of Isle of Man Sport Aid which says it's "delighted" at the cyclist's success at the Rio Olympics.
The 'Manx Missile' became the first Manxman to win an individual Olympic medal when he took Silver in the men's Omnium event earlier this week.
He received Sport Aid from 2000 to 2005 - Chris Quine is the sports performance coordinator; he says it's great to see so many people trying to follow in his footsteps:
Politician to query government income from medical cannabis
Police appeal over prom incident
Christian to defend seat
Police ask people to avoid Mountain Road after supercar crash
Over £2.7k raised by firefighters' 'Station To Summit' challenge
Onchan post office to stop trading
