The Department of Infrastructure says part of the Old Castletown Road will shut later today.
It's carrying out work between Kewaigue Road and the New Castletown Road each day this week.
Parts of the route will shut from 9.30am to 3.30pm as cats eyes are installed.
Motorists will be diverted via the New Castletown Road.
