Manx Utilities says the one way system at White Hoe will be removed this afternoon.
Old Castletown Road will fully reopen at 4.30pm today, Monday 23.
The utility company says it's because the works in Kewaigue have been completing sooner than expected.
It adds the road will need to be closed again over two weekends in April to allow for more upgrades to the wastewater network.
This is scheduled for the Easter school holidays, from Saturday April 11 to Sunday, April 12 and then Saturday, April 18 until Sunday, April 19.
