OFT warn of new computer scam

The Office of Fair Trading has received reports of people being telephoned and told they have a problem with their computers.  

Although legitimate companies may contact customers by telephone the OFT says it is important to check the company out before handing over any money. 

OFT chief inspector John Peet has this advice:
