OFT Warn of Faulty Mobility Scooters
The Office of fair trading have issued a warning to users of mobility scooters after its been a leading manufacturer has said they could overheat and catch on fire.
The Healthcare UK ltd ‘Strider’ model was recently reported to a regulatory agency in the England following an incident where the vehicle overheated and smoke billowed from under the bodywork.
The company say its only a select number of the models which carry the problem, its not known if any of which are on the Island.
