A Christian minister and film festival director has thrown his hat in the ring for this year's general election.
George Hargreaves says he'll be running for MHK in the Douglas Central constituency.
On social media he says he's lectured on church history at Oxford University, taught New Testament Greek at a London Bible school and run a number of community projects.
The Island will go to the polls on Thursday, September 24 this year.
