Officers visit schools to build connections

Police officers have been visiting schools across the Island.

In a post on social media, police say they've been introducing themselves to staff.

It adds it isn't something they've been able to do recently, but recognise it's an important part of Policing.

Authorities say forming great working relationships with schools is key to breaking down barriers between young people and Police.
