A group of visiting off road motorcyclists have been reported to police after driving on the Mountain Road while it was closed.
The Department of Infrastructure took to social media after the bikers ignored the road closure signs while work was ongoing.
It adds that those involved have been issued with endorsable fixed penalty notices.
The department says it will have ‘no hesitation’ in reporting further breaches of the ongoing road closure.
