Workshops have been conducted to three sixth form high schools by the nursing team at Noble’s Hospital.
The workshops involve spreading the message of dignity, as the A-level Health and Social Care module explores this.
These sessions have greatly increased the students’ understanding of the subject and celebrate the care given at the hospital.
Health Minister David Anderson said that his department believes it’s paramount that patients feel they are treated with privacy, dignity and respect.
The students are encouraged to consider how loss of dignity can occur in many settings including frontline healthcare and everyday life.
