A nurse who was laid off after spending more than 80 per cent of her time signed off ill wasn't unfairly dismissed by Manx Care, a tribunal's found.
Kathryn Fenner claimed she'd been unfairly dismissed and discriminated against because of long Covid - the hearing was told she'd been sacked in June 2023 after working for Manx Care for just under two years.
But tribunal chair Douglas Stewart said during Miss Fenner's 534 days of absence, due process had been properly and fairly handled.
He dismissed the case.
