There are only around 300 remaining MiCard users, according to the treasury minister.
Dr Alex Allinson was asked for the figure in the House of Keys by Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse.
It's down from around 1,000 in October, with some replacement MiCards to be issued in the new year.
