Health Minister Claire Christian says Manx Care has faced 25 clinical negligence claims since it was set up five years ago.
She faced a question for written response from Douglas North MHK John Wannenburgh about the cost of insurance and claims since 2021.
In her reply, she said the government self-insures, with settlements paid from the Island's medical indemnity fund.
And she added since April 2021, there have been 25 clinical negligence claims received.
