The Department of Education, Sport and culture says people will be able to use the National Sports Centre again from Monday - but swimming facilities will remain closed.
With the end of lockdown, the DESC says work on water slides and the leisure pool area can continue after six weeks.
The facilities will remain closed under new guidelines from public health officials, but the department says it hopes to reopen them before the summer holidays.
Work to refurbish the water slides began in 2017, and Education Minister Dr Alex Allinson has apologised for the continued closure.
