Sports Centre Achieves Excellent Rating in Major Assessment
The Island’s National Sports Centre has been officially
recognised as one of the best sport and recreation facilities in the British
Isles.
Roughly 1000 centres across the UK participate, and after a rigorous two-day assessment the NSC has been rated in the excellent category.
The assessment covers twenty-two management competencies including Customer Care, Financial Management and Health and Safety to name but a few.
Part of the assessment includes an unannounced mystery visitor who used the facilities with his report taken into account in the grading process.
Minister for Community, Culture and Leisure David Cretney says 'the excellent rating demonstrates the NSC is on a path of continuous improvement'.
