A public footpath in the north of the Island has re-opened following work throughout summer.
The path from Riverbank Road to the banks of Sulby River at Whitebridge in Ramsey had been closed for a 'considerable amount of time' due to a landslip and erosion.
The Department of Infrastructure has now reinstated the path which had become practically impassable.
The public right of way is now fully open to the public.
