A Northern Ireland minister has thanked the Manx government for talks on allowing overseas workers on boats from the territory to fish in Manx waters.
Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs minister Andrew Muir came to the Island to hold talks with Manx counterparts after the rules changed earlier this year.
Overseas workers on boats from Northern Ireland need Manx permits to fish in our waters - leading to worries the rules are effectively a ban.
Mr Muir said the talks with DEFA Minister Clare Barber and Treasury Minister Chris Thomas looked at a measure to reduce the impact on the Northern Irish fishing fleet.
