Northern Ireland's Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs minister has met with the Manx government to discuss fishing rights.
Andrew Muir says he visited because of uncertainty caused by the requirement for overseas workers to have immigration permits to fish Manx waters.
Mr Muir said the talks with his counterpart Clare Barber and Island Treasury Minister Chris Thomas centred around reducing the impact of the measures on Northern Irish fishing boats.
It comes after a council in Northern Ireland hit out at new Manx visa rules for fishermen last month.
