The idea of a non-emergency telephone line on Island will be brought up in the House of Keys next week.
Arbory, Castletown & Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse will question Justice and Home Affairs Minister, Graham Cregeen, on the subject when MHK's meet again tomorrow.
Mr Moorhouse wants to know when Mr Cregeen's department last considered the prospect of introducing a 101 non-emergency service on Manx shores.
Mr Moorhouse's query will be heard when the latest Keys session takes place on Tuesday, February 9, from 10am.
