A row over cost-cutting at Manx Care is continuing after ministers decided to reject saving proposals put forward by the organisation.
Earlier this month, Lawrie Hooper MHK resigned as health minister after Tynwald was told of a £16 million overspend.
But Manx Care's money-saving suggestions included shutting wards at Noble's hospital as well as the Manx Emergency Doctor Service - which ministers say they can't accept.
Ministers threw out the plan and Chief Minister Alf Cannan, the new health minister, has told the organisation to save money elsewhere without directly impacting services.
