If you were prepared to brave the seas in a longboat tonight, you can now stay warm and dry instead.
Organisers of Peel's Viking Longboat Races says practicing was due to go ahead in the bay this evening but strong winds are forecast for later, leading to the session being cancelled.
Event organisers say they're contacting teams to let them know a practice session will be held on Wednesday instead.
The races are due to be held on Saturday, June 28.
