The director of Manx National Heritage says a large bequest from a Colby man will be spread across the Island.
It was revealed last year that John Donald Collister had left his £1 million estate to the Manx Museum and National Trust.
A consultation asked the public how they’d like to see the money spent.
Many respondents wanted to see the money allocated to the support of local community and associated events, as well as encouraging traditional skills.
