Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall says it'll be some time before his department resurfaces Tromode Road in Braddan.
This week in the House of Keys, he faced questions about the route from North Douglas MHK John Wannenburgh.
He wanted to know when the road was last assessed and if it was in line for work in future.
Mr Crookall said minor faults had been found last year, but other worries meant resurfacing was unlikely in the near future:
High ground could see 4 inches of snow on Saturday night
Mountain Road unlikely to open before Monday
Yellow warning for freezing temperatures tonight
School bangers night called off
AK47 and Uzi handed in to police
