The Department of Infrastructure says a new pedestrian crossing in Douglas should be operational soon - depending on the weather.
Highway Services is installing a puffin crossing on Victoria Road near Summerhill View residential home.
The department says it's hoping to test and commission the crossing in the next week.
But it says it needs dry weather to carry out work on the electrical components.
