The Department of Infrastructure says a sports car manufacturer didn't test its latest model on closed roads.
Porsche came to the Isle of Man with its new 2019 911 GT3 RS to show off to journalists, along with two-time TT winner Steve Plater.
A Freedom of Information request asked the DOI whether it had closed the road or allowed the cars through in April while it carried out TT preparation work.
In response, the DOI says the cars didn't venture onto closed roads.
