Treasury Minister Chris Thomas says there are no plans to cut incapacity, disability or child premiums from benefits.
He faced a question for written answer from Douglas South MHK Sarah Maltby about the payments.
In his response, Mr Thomas said it was difficult to say how many people received the extra payments - but in 2024 Treasury found just over 1,800 people claimed them.
But he added the Treasury had no plans to withdraw any of the premiums.
