Manx Care say they have no plans to close its MEDS service.
On September 17 Manx Care submitted a confidential document to the Department of Health and Social Care about how a further £4 million of savings could be achieved in this year.
The temporary closure of the out-of-hour service was on this report as a potential option.
However the organisation says this money-saving measure was rejected because it would have a big impact of patient care.
