There are no plans to try and attract off-Island students to the University College Isle of Man.
That's the message from the Department of Education and Children which says it needs to further develop its higher education portfolio first.
That's despite a link up last year between the UCM and the International Centre for Technology - the two joined forces to expand the number of degree courses available here.
