Health Minister Claire Christian says there are no planned changes to health and care community services provided locally around the Island.
She faced a question for written response from Glenfaba and Peel MHK Kate Lord-Brennan about an Eastern/Western Belt in Manx Care's operating plan.
She wanted to why the organisation was moving away from a four-region plan.
However, Ms Christian said the plan helps keep people at home for longer, and said despite the terminology used there were no plans to change services.
