The Infrastructure Minister says there aren't any alternative plans for flood defences in Ramsey at the moment.
Tim Crookall was quizzed in Tynwald this week by Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper about it.
The Department of Infrastructure withdrew proposals for the town's quayside in a u-turn last month, in the wake of public concerns.
Mr Crookall laid out the next steps:
Several Douglas roads to shut for drone show this week
Airport passenger figures are down
Newborns to get free books
Northern road closure this week
Bus strike forces charity dog walk to reschedule
K-pop circus arrives in Douglas!
Firm under investigation over waste storage
DOI planning bus stop upgrades
