Chief Minister Alf Cannan says there's been no negotiation with the UK about taking immigrants, housing them in hotels or tracking them on the Island.
In the House of Keys this week, Arbory Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse quizzed him about people who'd applied for permanent residence in the UK.
He wanted to know about negotiations with the UK allowing them to spend time here.
