Residents are being urged not to panic buy in shops in response to today’s Covid-19 alert.
Chief Minister, Howard Quayle MHK, issued a plea on the matter asking people to ‘be kind to each other’ during a government Coronavirus briefing held this afternoon.
It comes as officials are asking people to stay at home, not mix households and avoid healthcare settings following the discovery of two unexplained Coronavirus cases.
Mr Quayle says the advice is currently a precaution and more details on the situation are expected tomorrow (February 28).
