The Met Office has ruled out any chance of a heatwave again this summer, like we experienced in June and July.
More warm spells are expected although low pressure is set to increasingly dominate in the weeks ahead.
The past two months have been the hottest on the island for more than 20 years but rain will now become more frequent.
