The Treasury says it doesn't have any information about the UK government paying Manx companies to house immigrants.
A Freedom of Information request asked for details about immigrants in private housing paid for by Westminster.
But in its response, the Treasury said it couldn't find any such information.
And it added after extensive searches it was unable to locate any data relating to the request.
