The Chief Minister says there's no threat to the Island's fuel supply from the war in the Middle East.
In Tynwald this week, Alf Cannan was asked by Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Tim Glover about the impact of the conflict on the Manx economy.
Mr Cannan said as far as he was aware, Island fuel suppliers hadn't tried to profit from the crisis, as was possibly the case elsewhere.
He went on to name the most pressing issue:
