The chair of Michael Commissioners has hit out at plans to impose 20mph limits in towns and villages across the Island.
Duncan Livingstone says he's written to the department of Infrastructure about the moves after Port St Mary's limit was introduced.
Mr Livingstone - a driving instructor and former police traffic officer - says no consultation has been held with local authorities of residents about the moves.
In his letter, he says his criticisms have been given the unanimous backing of the board.
