The government says it can't afford to give money to businesses affected by nearby regeneration work.
Economic Development Minister Lawrence Skelly faced questions on the issue in the House of Keys earlier this week.
Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse wanted to know about support for companies affected by projects before, during and after development.
