The government says no company involved in demolishing a landmark in the south of the Island faced action over alleged pollution.
A Freedom of Information request asked if companies involved in demolishing Port Erin's Marine Biological Station had been charged.
The person behind the request says oil spilled into Port Erin Bay as well as millions of polystyrene beads in 2023.
In its response, the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture said no company had faced prosecution over the incident.
