The Chief Minister says it's 'very troubling' that more people on the Island are relying on food banks.
Howard Quayle said in Tynwald yesterday that evidence appears to suggest a 28 per cent increase in the use of food banks over the summer holidays last year.
He added that 'no child should go hungry under any circumstances'.
It came in response to a question from Garff MHK Daphne Caine on what action is being taken to prevent increased demand on the Isle of Man Food Bank.
