Two Ballerkemeen teachers Struggling To Get Back Home
A newlywed couple from the Isle of Man are amongst the hundreds of people stranded due to the volcanic ash.
Eoin and Seoisin Moriarty are both teachers at Ballerkermeen High.
They were on a dream trip to Italy and have spent the past few days tirelessly trying to make their way back to the Isle of Man in time for the new term.
They have travelled 16 hours by public transport from Naples, then hired a car to drive over 1,000 kilometres, and are now stuck at Dieppe.
Eoin said trying to get back to the Island has come at a huge expense to them, and their honeymoon will certainly be one to remember. (audio above)
