The police have issued a warning as more palm oil washed up at Smeale Beach in the north of the Island.
Social media users have shared pictures showing a large chunk of the substance at the beauty spot near the Ayres National Nature Reserve.
One person who came across it said it looked like an animal had eaten part of it.
It comes after palm oil washed up on Garwick Beach last month, with the fire service warning it can be harmful to dogs.
