Proposed new laws governing vehicles on the Isle of Man have been described as "a sledgehammer to crack a nut".
That's the view of Steven Broad - the chairman of the Isle of Man Road Transport Association.
He was giving evidence to a select committee looking into the Road Traffic Legislation Amendment Bill - among the changes are compulsory bans for those caught driving without insurance.
