A new report has revealed the nearly 8,000 residents are employed in the public service on the Island.
The reports showed in 2024, there was 7,802 full time staff employed in the government.
The government has grown by 427 full-time equivalent jobs over the last four years, with 408 of the new roles located within Manx Care.
Chief Minister Alf Cannan says the report serves as a reminder the contribution made by the public sector workforce in so many aspects of community life.
